Wandered the Lower East with my cousin Jenn today. We had a late lunch at Bodhi Tree, a yummy little Thai restaurant in the East Village (58 3rd avenue.) The service, food, and atmosphere were great.
Raided Strand for some summer reading -- the sidewalk sale has a great selection of books for $1 each, I bought two armfuls of memoirs -- before heading down to St. Mark's then over to some vintage stores to do a bit of damage. I'm about to start packing to head back up to Ithaca...I'm not sure if I'm more excited that I'm heading back or sad that I'm leaving the city so soon.

Was considering buying those heels...are they comfortable for walking around?
ReplyDeleteAh, they're actually surprisingly comfortable! They're pretty high but there's also a fairly large platform so walking around isn't too awful. I would definitely recommend them; they're my new favorite pair of pumps.
